New Camera! Test Run! Exclamations!

Test run from the photos I took with my new Camera. That’s camera with a capital ‘C’.

Very exciting.

It’s an expensive birthday present to myself.

I finally figured out how to use manual mode.

At first I thought she looked like a rat, then someone suggested a Gremlin.

  1. Haathi – Thank you, well it was hardly a VERY big decision, I havent had a camera since…hmmm before 2007. So I suppose I’ve saved up and I dont have a smart phone either.

Sophy – No I’d never get an analogue now, it’s really useless in a digital world.
I have a manual Nikon back in Bombay that I used to use in art school (http://10yearsofmediocrephotography.wordpress.com/) when I had access to a B/W darkroom and could develop my own photos but now the cost of paying to develop film is way too expensive and the process of converting manual prints into digital files far too cumbersome to be a realistic process.

In fact i now need to re-scan all my old b/w when I go back next time because I didn’t scan them at a high enough res to ever print them digitally. Pain in the bum!

Char I shall!! exclamations!! I’m already annoying my friends.
